Privacy Policy

Pocket Interview Prep does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

What the app stores

Everything you create in the app, your code, your flashcard review history, your progress through the roadmap, and your whiteboard drawings, is stored only on your device. The app has no server and no user account. Your data never leaves your device except through Apple's own device backup, if you have that turned on.

Network access

The app does not make network requests. The code editor, the Java, Python, and C++ interpreters, and every problem, lesson, and flashcard run entirely offline on your device.

Purchases

Pro subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer never sees your payment details, your Apple Account, or any information that identifies you. Apple's handling of purchase data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Analytics and tracking

There are no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. If you have "Share With App Developers" turned on in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements, Apple may send the developer anonymized crash reports. That is an iOS feature you control, not something the app does, and you can turn it off there.

This website

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages and uses no cookies, analytics, or third-party scripts. It remembers a language you pick in your browser's local storage, which never leaves your device. GitHub may log visitors' IP addresses for security, as described in GitHub's Privacy Statement.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. There is nothing stored elsewhere to delete.

Changes

Any change to this policy will be posted on this page with a new date.
